Climate Change and Colorado’s Future
In collaboration with the University of Colorado at Boulder’s Office for Outreach and Engagement, National Snow and Ice Data Center, Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES), and Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR).
This series of under-ten-minute videos explores the changing, warming climate, especially as it pertains to Colorado’s ecosystems. The series is informed by what’s going on far away, including in the polar regions, in river systems that originate outside of Colorado, and the impact for species, such as the pika, that live in Colorado and other parts of the world. Many important scientists were interviewed for the series.
We co-produced these videos back in 2009. but the issues they address, and the need for the information they offer, feel more urgent today than ever. You can watch them by clicking the buttons below.
